Background to vacancy/ What is the purpose of the job? What do you need to achieve?
As the Head of Region HRBP, you will be accountable for leading the implementation of the Retail People Plan to deliver an employee experience that will create sustainable growth for the business.
� Accountable for the design and delivery of the Regional People Plan appropriately developed from the People Strategy
� Understand and assess key customer requirements and align the Retail People plan accordingly to drive business performance and growth
� Champion of the whole HR service, developing line manager capability through coaching and driving appropriate access to the HR Services
� Responsible for being the conscience for and coaching the regional leadership team to deliver a high performance through a winning culture for our people
� Develop a robust, forward thinking workforce plan for the Region, based on internal and external requirements needed to deliver the business growth plan, promoting diversity and inclusion
� Deliver the talent agenda to ensure strength in the Retail succession plan and talent pipeline
� Lead the people plan A agenda and driving regional and community involvement in people plan A activities
� Deliver key business changes which support our people strategy
� Support the Region to have the allocated number of elected B.I.G representatives, developing Regional and Store BIG capability, and utilising B.I.G insight to identify and deliver improvements to the people proposition
� Deliver business initiatives and development tools designed to achieve sustainable growth through improving people capability in making every moment special for our customers
Technical skills/business skills required
� Leadership � takes a leadership role in cross functional teams
� A passion for the employee experience and the customer experience
� Technical Knowledge � in HR practice, including workforce planning, change & performance management, talent and succession management
� Technical experience - in the delivery of employee relations and reward policies
� Commercial experience � able to Business plan to deliver P & L and Commercial KPI�s
� Analytical � can effectively use MI and conduct Trend Analysis of Commercial and HR data
� Communication, and Influencing
� Stakeholder Engagement and Networking � establishes effective internal and external contacts and relationships
� Self-motivated and proactively acts without guidance to add value
