This is an exciting career development opportunity for an individual with c5 years experience as a development team leader. Your role will be to provide leadership and direction to the small Application Development Team to ensure delivery of projects to create new or enhanced products as part of an agreed programme plan. You will have line management responsibility and will liaise with other IT Development teams in the South of England. A key part of this role is to drive the migration away from legacy technologies to ensure that solutions continue to be fit for purpose - C/C++ to C#/.NET
This is a hands on role and will involve some project work, requiring strong technical skills, in depth knowledge of application architecture and design patterns, plus an understanding of the end to end process required to deliver effective business solutions. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, someone who can ensure the development team and stakeholders are bought into agreed technical strategies.
